The Wonders of Sprouts
Sprouts are a nutrition powerhouse. They contain highly concentrated nutrients in comparison to mature vegetables. I encourage my HCG Diet patients to incorporate sprouts in their daily lives. Sprouts can be easily added to your diet by adding them to salads, soups, sandwiches, sautéed vegetables and even blended into smoothies. Sprouts are also so easy to make at home with the proper seeds, water and some mason jars with lids. I have a little sprout farm going on in my kitchen. It allows me to have a giant bowl of sprouts every day and I love it. I drain and rinse my sprouts 2x/day and it so easy and so rewarding.
Benefits of Sprouts in your Diet
Sprouts are low in calories and very high in fiber, enzymes, protein, vitamins and minerals. There are some fabulous health benefits from incorporating sprouts into your diet.

- Due to their richness in dietary fiber and low calorie content, sprouts are wonderful for the HCG Diet protocol or any weight loss program.
The Basics of Sprouting
Sprouts are so simple to do in your own kitchen. I purchase sprout seeds and sprouting jar lids on amazon. I soak 2 tbsp of seeds in a 2 quart mason jar filled with 3/4 water overnight. In the morning, turn the jar upside down and let the water drain through the holes in the lid. Rinse and drain the sprouts 2-3 x/day. Please be sure they ever get dry. In 4-5 days your sprouts are ready to eat!
