Free Foods on the HCG DIET Program

HCG DIET SNACKFree food!! Yes, you read that correctly. Patients are often very excited when they hear that they have food that can be “free” even on phase 2 of the HCG Diet protocol. What I have learned through my years of facilitating nearly 7000 patients through this program is that we also have to work with the psychology of being human. At times, when we feel deprived we may end up sabotaging our results by going for something outside of the phase 2 food list. However, when you have some options that you can have in unlimited amounts, the brain relaxes a bit more, knowing you can indulge if needed. I have found that adding the free food options to the HCG Diet protocol has made the program easier for my patients!  In the past 8 years, I have worked closely with behavioral eating psychologists to help me navigate the mental aspect of eating with my patients.

 FREE FOOD OPTIONS ON THE HCG DIET PHASE 2

 

The free veggies offered on phase 2 of the HCG Diet at The Natural Path are:

  • cucumber
  • celery
  • lettuce
  • radish
  • cabbage
  • spinach

In addition to the free vegetables, I allow my patients who are not sensitive to eggs to have 2-3 free egg whites daily. This truly helps those people who need a breakfast option on the program!  It is also helpful for those who might get hungry between meals.  I encourage my patients to keep celery, cucumber, spinach. radish and lettuce chopped up and ready to eat. I encourage them to make a large, FREE salad when they are hungry. A lovely free breakfast would be 1-3 egg whites with spinach. Many find the free food options to be a game changer. I also A LOT of foods that are FREE but in certain quantities. My goal has been to make the HCG DIET program easier for those living the modern, busy, lifestyle.

Feeling Satisfied on Phase 2 of the HCG Diet

We find that with the free vegetables, free egg whites and at least 2 liters of water daily our patients are quite satisfied.  On our program, you can have:

  • 2-3 HCG Diet friendly protein options at 3.5 -4.5 ounces per serving
  • 2-3 vegetable options in the amount of 1-2 cups
  • unlimited free vegetables
  • 2-4 egg whites daily
  • 2-4 liters of water and tea
  • coffee as desired (black or with stevia)
  • There are also many other “extra” options that are free in certain quantities.

Our goal is to make the HCG Diet feasible for those living the modern, busy lifestyle!
