Avoiding Side Effects of Semaglutide
Semaglutide Side Effects
Most of our patients at The Natural Path, experience minimal to no side effects while in the program. For those who do, they are considered mild and improve over time. Some common side effects of include:
- Abdomen (stomach) pain
- Bloating (gas)
- Constipation
- Nausea
- Vomiting
Avoiding Semaglutide Side Effects
Fortunately, patients can decrease or even avoid theses side effects by paying attention to what they eat. We recommend a very specific diet to follow while on the program. The point of following the diet is to begin to create lifestyle changes and adopt a healthy diet over time. High fat or fried foods and foods high in sugar are most likely to cause nausea while taking Semaglutide.
- Avoid fatty, fast, fried, and foods high in sugar
- Drink water or unsweetened tea
- Eat slowly, and eat smaller meals
- Eat bland and light foods
