Vibrant Green Drinks and Healthy Smoothies can be a part of the HCG WEIGHT LOSS PROTOCOL

For months, our patients asked us if there was a way they could add in "green drinks" to their HCG Diet Protocol.  YES! Wea re strong advocates of anything that is HCG Diet approved and super vital to all of the organs in the body.  You can actually take all of the approved vegetables in the HCG Weight Loss Diet outline and juice them (in moderate quantitieis of course). 

 

Here is a fabulousl green drink to add to any healthy eating plan.  I can even get my 2 little boys to drink this one. It just happens to be that the ingredients in this green smoothie are HCG Weight Loss Diet friendly. This is a wonderful way to start the day on the HCG Weight Loss Diet or just any day at all. This is a drinnk that we make quite often in our house.

 It is loaded with nutrients, easy to make and very satisfying. There is nothing better than super food, blended up and ready to enjoy.  What a great way to start the day!

Making Vital Green Drinks While on the HCG Weight Loss Diet -- P3

This delicious beverage can be easily created in less than 5 minutes.I am so excited to present this to my HCG Weight Loss Diet patients as an adjunct to their program.  This one is best for phase III.  For phase II, you could simply blend up

DELICIOUS GREEN JUICE FOR PHASE II

  • cucumber
  • celery
  • lemon 
  • 1/2 apple.

 This is one of my very favorite basic recipes.  I recommend buying all organic produce.

Phase III HCG Weight Loss Diet Green Drink

  • 3 cups of kale
  • 4 large stalks of celery
  • 3 sprigs parsley
  • 3 sprigs cilantro
  • 1 apple chopped
  • 1 cup strawberries (optional)
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 8 oz pure water

Creating this superfood green drink in a blender

  1. Wash all vegetables thoroughly; chop & cut and toss into a bowl.
  2. Add 8 ounces of water and lemon juice into a blender with 2 cups kale
  3. Blend for 30 secs until just incorporated
  4. Add additional kale, herbs and celery and keep blending for another minute
  5. Add apple and pear and blend for another 30-60 secs until well combined (Do not over blend
This makes enough for 2 days and can be stored in the refrigerator in a glass container.

When to Have the Green Drink on the HCG Weight Loss Diet

I recommend that our HCG Weight Loss Diet patients have a cup of this drink to start the day.  I do not believe it has to be counted as any of the allotted fruits and vegetables for the day.  If you get hungry throughout the day or at any point in the program, this would be an ideal choice for something to have to keep you satiated.
