Easy Apple Slices with Sweet Cinnamon Dipping Sauce for Phase II and Phase III of HCG Diet

What is for Dessert on the HCG Diet?

The HCG Diet does not have to be boring. There are so many options that you can come up with to make deliciously decadent HCG Diet meals. All it takes is a little creativity and you can become a fabulous HCG Diet chef.  At the Natural Path HCG Diet Clinic in Portland, Oregon we strive to teach and inspire our patients to get a little creative with their HCG Diet cooking. Here is a recipe for a very simpleand tasty dessert.  In fact, when I was away on a family vacation this past week I made this each night and placed it on the table and the baked apple slices were gone in moments.


Ingredients for this HCG Diet Treat:


1 apple, sliced; 3 tbsp. lemon juice; 1 tsp. apple cider vinegar; 1 tsp. cinnamon; dash of nutmeg; powdered stevia to taste

Directions for this delicious HCG Diet Treat

In a small sauce pan (or microwave) heat the HCG Diet friendly ingredients (except the apple) in a small bowl. Stir the blend constantly. Serve in a small dipping bowl with chilled apple slices. Put these our for your kids, your friends or your family and they will be eaten up in no time.

Modifications for Phase III of the HCG Diet

Dissolve the HCG Diet friendly spices in lemon juice and whisk in small cubes of cold butter to make a sauce. Add in some vanilla extract.  The vanilla extract and butter are approved for phase III of the HCG DIet. These can make the apple dipping sauce a little thicker and sweeter.
