DIY Almond Milk is a nice additon to P3 on HCG Weight Loss Diet

February 20, 2013

Last week, one of my P3 HCG Weight Loss Diet  patients asked me if I could show her how to make her own almond milk.   Almond milk is a wonderful beverage to have while on P3 of the HCG Weight Loss Diet and in your daily life in general. It is something that I make at my house atleast once per week.  Almond milk is filled with nutrients, low in calories, free from additives and in my opinion the best milk/dairy substitute as long as you are not allergic or sensitive to nuts.

How to make Almond milk that can be consumed on P3 of HCG Weight Loss Diet

I always choose organic ingredients in my preparations.  This HCG Weight Loss Diet Recipe is super duper easy.  You will need:

2 cups of almonds soaked overnight

2 cups of water

*optional 1/2tsp. vanilla

1-2 dates (not an option on P3 of HCG Weight Loss Diet)

Rinse the soaked nuts with water and place in blender. Add 2 cups of fresh water and blend on high speed. Once blended, pour the nut milk through a "nut milk bag,"a piece of cheesecloth or a fine strainer.  If you are on the HCG Weight Loss Diet you can add stevia to taste.   If you are not on a the weight loss diet program then you can add 1/2 tsp. vanilla or a date for sweetness.  Blend on high speed and strain milk using a fine strainer. Sometimes I add vanilla or a date or two for flavor and sweetness.
